Sprite
is a great little dog. She has tons of intensity and wants nothing more
than to work. Sprite's middle name was "Trouble" like her grandma,
since from about 3 months on she started finding her way to get in with
sheep or ducks when she wasn't supposed to. Now at 17 months she has
settled down and is pretty good about waiting for me to go to work. She
works all stock with a lot of style and finesse, and has a lot of bite
while working cattle. Sprite is showing outstanding ability in stock
work. She reads sheep very well, has nice balance, good natural flanks,
a good amount of eye, nice and biddable and is very quick to learn.
This little girl is a real character. You can't help but laugh at the funny things she does- like trying to sit on the dashboard in the car or walking along the back of the couch. Or sitting on tiny chairs just to see if she can. In the house she is sweet, gentle and calm, a real pleasure to have around.
