Becky came from
Whiskey Creek
Sheep Farm. I chose her at a year old because of her delightful
personality. Even at that age with no training she could go anywhere
and just be as calm and well behaved as in her own living room. She
loves people, although if she’s in working mode she’s generally not
interested in schmoozing.
She gets along fine with unfamiliar dogs.
Becky is a wonderful willing partner in any chore. She seems to enjoy the challenge of stock that don’t want to go where they should, especially bossing around our goats. From her dam, Puck, she has inherited the ability to be very subtle and move stock with a dip of her head, but she got a bit more reckless courage from her sire. She prefers that chores have an obvious goal rather than just being told every move. She has a good sense of keeping a group together.
